- TGT Pay Scale: After selection employees will get Pay Band of Rs. 44,900/- to Rs. 1,42,400/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600/- based on 7th Pay Level.
- PGT Pay Scale: After selection employees will get Pay Band of Rs. 47,600/- to Rs. 1,51,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,800/- based on 7th Pay Level.

UPSESSB will conduct single main written examination for TGT (Trained Graduation Teacher) for 500 marks. Whereas PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) office conduct written exam of 85% marks weightage of 425 marks then Interview of 10% marks weightage of 50 marks and special qualification 05% marks weightage of 25 marks as follows:
- For P.hd / D.Phil Degree = 2% marks weightage
- For B.Ed Degree = 2% marks weightage
- For M.Ed Degree = 1% marks weightage
